I used this to protect my 7D on recent trip to Asia and it worked very well with my 135mm lens attached. The camera barely fit with this lens attached, but it worked when I placed the camera and strap a certain way. It is nicely padded and has just enough room for a spare battery, memory card and battery charger. This is a great choice if you have limited space in your luggage like I did or if you want additional padded protection in your regular bag. I had to travel light on this trip and this product provided ample protection for my camera. I am sure that the rain cover would have worked well in Taiwan's many rain storms if I had taken my camera with me, so this is a bonus feature of this product.
